Southern Dalmatia (from Dubrovnik)

Dubrovnik → Šipan → Mljet → Korčula → Lastovo → Okuklje → Dubrovnik

Day 1: Dubrovnik

Start your sailing adventure in the iconic city of Dubrovnik, often referred to as the “Pearl of the Adriatic.” This UNESCO World Heritage Site is renowned for its majestic stone walls, baroque architecture, and bustling old town. Before setting sail, take a stroll down Stradun, ride the cable car for panoramic views, or dine overlooking the city’s red rooftops and shimmering sea.

Day 2: Šipan (Elaphiti Islands)

Your first stop is Šipan, the biggest of the Elaphiti Islands. It's recognized for its peaceful beauty and abundant foliage. You may drop anchor in either Šipanska Luka or Suđurađ, two beautiful ports with old stone cottages and olive orchards. The island is the perfect quiet place to start your trip, with local konobas serving fresh fish and wine made from grapes produced on the island.

Day 3: Mljet (National Park)

Mljet is a haven for environment lovers. It has thick pine forests and one of Croatia's most beautiful national parks. You can anchor at Pomena or Polače and explore the park's distinctive saltwater lakes, Veliko and Malo Jezero. You can also visit the 12th-century Benedictine abbey on St. Mary's Island. Cycling, kayaking, or wandering around the lakes is a peaceful break from the ocean.

Day 4: Korčula (Korčula Town)

Sail to Korčula Town, which is sometimes called "Little Dubrovnik" because of its medieval walls and Venetian-style buildings. This busy island city has a lot of history and is thought to be where Marco Polo was born. Walk through its stone streets, listen to live music at dusk, and eat grilled seafood with a glass of Pošip, a crisp white wine from the area. There is a lively combination of old and new appeal throughout the town.

Day 5: Lastovo (Lastovo Island)

Lastovo is a remote and mysterious island that is part of a protected natural park. It has very little light pollution, making it one of the greatest places in Croatia to see stars. The island's calm bays, such as Zaklopatica and Skrivena Luka, are great places to anchor and enjoy the pristine sea. Lastovo is a great place for adventurers and snorkelers because of its strange chimneys and untamed nature.

Day 6: Okuklje (Island of Mljet, North Side)

When you come back, stop in the quiet bay of Okuklje on the northern coast of Mljet. This little village is a secret treasure for sailors. It has peaceful moorings and friendly people. Have dinner at a family-run seaside restaurant like Maestral or Maran, where you can enjoy local food beneath the stars in a quiet environment.

Day 7: Return to Dubrovnik

Cruise back to Dubrovnik via the rough coastline of the mainland, where you may see mountains and little islands along the route. Your trip ends where it began, in one of the Adriatic's most famous cities. You can take a last walk through the beautiful old town and raise a glass to a wonderful sailing adventure.
